If you are looking for a natural space to enjoy a family gathering or company picnic, consider reserving a pavilion with the York County Department of Parks and Recreation!
The Department offers 29 pavilions available as rentals throughout the park system. Prices vary from $35 (weekdays) to $65 to $75 (weekends and holidays) depending on capacity, which ranges from 75 to 200 persons.
Picnic pavilions are available from 8 a.m. to dusk, except Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. Unreserved pavilions are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Amenities include charcoal grills, 110-volt electrical outlets, trails, ball fields, playgrounds, sand volleyball courts and horseshoes pits. Remember to provide your own equipment. Miscellaneous facilities available for rent include: Gazebos (Rudy or Kain), a stage at Kain, open space fields and sports fields. Pavilions and restrooms are ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible.
Please bring trash bags with you. Dumpsters are located nearby for disposal. Parking at pavilions is strictly prohibited - only unloading and loading of vehicles is permitted.

Attention: Because of a construction project, the water level in Lake Redman is about 10 feet below normal. The Lake Redman Boat Rental cannot open until the lake is full. We are estimating the boat rental will be closed until early June. Boat trailers are also prohibited during low water conditions. Please take this into consideration before renting a pavilion or visiting the park to do water-related activities.
