Current Priority Projects 

In November of 2014, the CJAB established five priorities for 2015:

  • Establishing a reentry management organization (RMO)
  • Prevention of juvenile crime
  • Pre-trial services
  • Problem-solving courts
  • Trauma-informed care

At the retreat, the first four priorities, which have been carried over from previous years, were reviewed in detail, with an eye to keeping forward momentum rolling. These priorities have existing Committees in place to guide work. The last priority is new and is rooted in a goal to realign system-wide services with principles of trauma-informed care and risk assessment. Work continues on all five priorities, and more information is available on the Accomplishments page.
