(Annual licenses valid from January 1 - December 31)
State law requires all dogs over 3 months of age to be licensed. Owners of unlicensed dogs are subject to fines not less than $50.00 and not to exceed $300.

|Residents must be 65 to purchase a Senior Citizen License or a Senior Citizen Lifetime License.|
Dog licenses are also available by mail-regular, lifetime or at Agents located throughout the county. If you are sending in an application by mail, please make the check payable to “York County Treasurer”.
Online Dog Licenses ( Annual ) are now available. There will be an additional $2.00 (per license) fee charged by our credit card processor.
Online Dog Licenses ( Lifetime ) are now available. In order to qualify for a lifetime license the dog needs to be tattooed or micro-chipped. There will be an additional $4.00 (per license) fee charged by our credit card processor.
Duplicate dog tags for damaged or misplaced tags are available in our office for $1.50. Our office also handles the dog transfers and any changes to owner information.
