Farmland Preservation Meeting Slated

York County landowners interested in preserving their farms and/or natural land are invited to an upcoming meeting to learn about the benefits of conservation easements.
The meeting will provide information regarding easement purchases and easement donations through the York County Agricultural Land Preservation Board. Staff will discuss the application process, requirements, the selection process and easement restrictions.
Conservation partners will be on hand to discuss conservation planning requirements and how to obtain conservation planning assistance.
Seating is limited to 80 people. Individuals interested in attending must pre-register by calling (717)-840-7400.
When: 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20
Where: Room 1 of the York County Annex Building, 118 Pleasant Acres Road in Springettsbury Township. Individuals with special needs who would like to attend this meeting should call (717) 840-7400 to make arrangements. The building is compliant with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
