Registration Opens For Pearl Harbor Ceremony

The York County Department of Veterans Affairs invites the community to attend its annual breakfast and recognition ceremony for veterans of the Pearl Harbor attack and Battle of the Bulge.

The department holds the program each year on Dec. 7, National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

This year’s program will begin at 7:30 a.m. It will take place in the Pennsylvania Room at the York Expo Center.

The public and all veterans are invited to attend. There is no cost for those wishing to attend just the ceremony.

The cost is $10 per person for the general public wishing to attend both the ceremony and breakfast. The breakfast and program is free for veterans of Pearl Harbor and the Battle of the Bulge, and $5 for all other World War II veterans

People interested in attending the event should contact the York County Department of Veterans Affairs at 771-9218 or return the registration form available at www.ycva.org. Interested parties are asked to submit the form and payment by Friday, Dec. 2.
