Native American Stories To Be Told At Nixon Park
- Published on: 11/5/2012
The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a Native American Stories program at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11 at Nixon County Park.
Seneca Indian Jerry Dietz will arrive in authentic dress to delight you with his age-old animal tales.
These traditional tales are told only after the leaves fall from the trees and have a meaning for all ages.
This is an indoor program for children age 5 and older. There is no fee and registration is not required. Call the Nature Center at (717) 428-1961 for more information.
