Hannah Penn To Remain Polling Place

The York County Department of Elections and Voter Registration reminds residents that Hannah Penn Middle School will remain a polling place during the upcoming election.

The department has received several inquiries from the public regarding Hannah Penn’s status for the November general election. Although the School District of the City of York has closed the school, it will remain a polling place for the November election.

The school, located at 415 E. Boundary Ave. in York City, will continue to serve voters in the 2nd Precinct of the city’s 12th Ward.

“We thank the school district for allowing us to continue using the school as a polling place,” said Nikki Suchanic, director of the York County Department of Elections and Voter Registration. “We prefer to keep polling places the same whenever possible.”
