Non-Emergency Service Restored To Emergency Services

Non-emergency calls can once again be placed to the York County Emergency Services Center.

Callers trying to reach the Center through non-emergency lines are receiving a busy signal for several hours on Tuesday. The problem was external of the Emergency Services Center.

Routine 911 service was not affected. The center’s staff was able to receive calls and dispatch equipment and personnel.

The vendor responsible for the affected telephone system lines repaired the problem.
