Family-Friendly Hike Teaches How Animals Prepare For Winter

The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will present a “How Animals Prepare for Winter” hike at Nixon County Park from 2:30 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Participants will hike with a Parks staff person to explore the animal world and learn the steps animals are taking to prepare for the coming season. This is a great learning experience for all ages. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
