Virtual Chronic Pain Self-Management Class

Chronic Pain Self-Management Program is an evidence-based Health & Wellness Program designed for those 60+ living with chronic pain and caregivers 60+ caring for someone living with chronic pain. The program was developed by the Self-Management Resource Center, formerly Stanford University Patient Education Resource Center. It is designed to help older adults living with chronic pain to explore healthy ways to manage and live with their chronic pain condition so they can enjoy more fulfilling, satisfying lives.

The program is led by certified leaders and held once weekly for six weeks, with each class spanning 2.5 hours. Participants will learn self-management tools like physical activity, breathing techniques, understanding emotions, using your mind, healthy eating, and others. Each participant will go away with a companion book, Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Pain, and a Moving Easy Program CD, gentle exercises for chronic pain.
