The York County Board of Commissioners -- President Julie Wheeler and Commissioners Doug Hoke and Ron Smith -- participated in a ribbon-cutting Tuesday at the Slate Hill Road Bridge, a historic stone arch bridge bridge that connects Fairview Township, York County, and Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County.

The 122-year-old bridge, which spans the Yellow Breeches Creek, underwent extensive renovations. Joining the commissioners were Cumberland County representatives and also CS Davidson employees, the project's manager.

The next day, at the York County Board of Commissioners meeting, CS Davidson Chief Administrative Officer John Klinedinst and Project Manager Logan Swartz presented results of the Slate Hill Road Project and also the York County bridge 226 Project at Hull Drive over Bermudian Creek in Washington Township.
