Commissioner Doug Hoke took office in 2008, and was elected Vice President in 2011. He's maintained the vice president position over 3 terms.
Before coming to the York County Board of Commissioners, he was a Project Administrator with the Pennsylvania State Public School Building Authority, where he assisted with the issuance of tax-exempt debt. He has also worked at the Pennsylvania State Lottery and Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.
The West York Area High School graduate earned a bachelor's degree from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.
When not at work, Doug is active in the community. He has previously served as a volunteer mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of York and currently sits on several community boards. He lives in York City.
