Safety
The York County Special Needs Registry - program for special needs residents who are unable to evacuate or need assistance to remain sheltered in their residence during an emergency situation, because of physical or other disabilities.
Project LifeSaver - A program from the York County Sheriff's Office which provides a timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for children and adults who wander due to Alzheimer’s, autism and other cognitive related conditions and disorders. Project Lifesaver is an internationally recognized program aimed at bridging the gap for at-risk populations and public safety agencies.
