The York County Area Agency on Aging (YCAAA), along with the Pennsylvania Lottery, subsidizes transportation services for eligible persons via the shared-ride program through rabbittransit.
Each person making a trip is required to pay a fixed cost-shared amount. The rest of the cost is subsidized through the agency and the lottery.
Additional Transportation Services:
The Pennsylvania Lottery also subsidizes transportation services for persons 65 years of age or older. They include unlimited free rides on rabbittransit public bus routes. Registration with rabbittransit is necessary for this service.
