The York County Sheriff's Office works closely with the Center for Traffic Safety, Safe Kids York County, and WellSpan Health to provide checks of car seats to parents and caregivers at no charge. Checks are available on a case by case basis or at a large event. Events have been conducted a markets, the York State Fair, and other locations. To learn more, contact Lt.
