"How Animals Prepare For Winter" Hike Coming Sunday

The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will present a “How Animals
Prepare for Winter” hike at Nixon County Park from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21.

Participants will hike with a Parks staff person to explore the animal world and learn the steps animals are taking to prepare for the coming winter season. This is a great learning experience for all ages. Participants should dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

There is no fee for the program and registration is not required. For more information, please contact the Nature Center at Nixon County Park at (717) 428-1961.
